Reading this book was a mind opening, powerful and whimsical experience for me. I have heard whispers of what sexual connection can be like through tantric (or other similar ways of deepening the experience), but this was my first in depth glimpse into this world. I've always enjoyed sexuality and have treated my shared experiences with respect and a seasoning of fun. This read has me excited for all the rich untapped potential possible with the right circumstances and connection with one's lover - healing, transcendence, unity, past and future lives… And while sexuality was a prominent element in this book, it also felt like a playful and soulful guide of how one can savor their days and nights fully alive and vibrating with love as a soul in this physical play called life.

Are you ready for an experience of a lifetime? There are a lot of experiences that I've never had sexually or platonic-ally or in my own consciousness, although I would aspire to have them one day.
I found myself wondering if it is possible for me, as someone who is a novice at tantra.
I found the love story sweet and their experiences inspirational.
This would be a good book for partners who want ideas on how to enhance their sensual intimacy.
The practices at the end of the book give some building blocks towards being able to try what the characters were doing.
I would love to have a bit more of the practices and perhaps even some beginner level practices and even practices that don't require a partner to start with.
Overall, I loved the book. It was an enjoyable read and I’m sure it will be more enjoyable the second and third times.

This is a love story about a man and a woman who are in their fifties and meet at a conference. In starting a relationship, they both experience profound spiritual memories of having known each other somehow somewhere in the past. But not in this lifetime. In former lifetimes.
The book is a series of stories from these lifetimes, including being young lovers, having a family together, being forbidden lovers, and even being embodied in a tiger and a dragon. The book is about the couple’s experience with these former lives impacting soul growth in their current lives. It’s about their relatively normal modern lives being given deeper meaning as a result of having met their soul mate. They have a non-traditional long distance relationship that works best for both of them, and a bond too strong to allow distance to come between them...
...The book is enjoyable to read, not a quick read but one that will offer value to those interested in learning about a deep love that is free and happy, and especially those who wonder what it might be like to meet one’s soul mate.

Esme (Tigress) lives a mermaid's life by the sea and writes poetry and prose to heal and inspire herself and others.
She believes nature is life's greatest teacher and her craft involves the aligning and balancing of objects, people, and energies to create better flow. She practices in varied fields including: creative writing, design, research, Feng shui, acupressure massage, earth-based ritual and yoga.
Esme was raised in the Mahayana tradition of Buddhism and has studied Tantra and Taoist philosophies as well as Pagan practices. She considers herself a magickal and powerful Taoist witch
Terence (Dragon) lives a dragon’s life and enjoys his time in the forests and mountains communing with nature. He also walks in the 3D world of science and technology, sharing his healing light and cleansing flame with others.
He came to his path of sovereignty and joy after suddenly awakening to his true nature at age 50. Many years on, his practice includes the hidden traditions of Buddhism, Taoism, Christian Gnosticism, Tantra, and ancient tribal practices. He considers himself a powerful and magickal Taoist witch.
